I was born into a family of dedicated diamond workers, all of whom worked in my father’s successful diamond manufacturing firm. After a detour into university, where I earned an LL.B. and M.A. in Law and worked as a lawyer for several years, I found I was missing the creative part of professional life.

I decided to capitalize on my legal experience and background in the family's diamond business. After studying Gemology (the evaluation of polished diamonds) I worked for several years in diamond production and eventually began to design diamond jewelry as a hobby.
